Song of the Week: Blurred Lines

Have you ever turned on the radio at random and discovered that the song playing might just be your new favorite?

I rarely listen to the radio anymore since my commute is very short, but one day last week I happened to switch it on, and the song playing at the time has been stuck in my head since.

The song in question is “Blurred Lines,” by Robin Thicke, and if you haven’t heard it yet, go check it out, but be warned– you might not be able to get it out of your head either.

I’m not sure what it is about this particular piece of music, but I can’t help wanting to dance and sing along when it comes on… or when I pullĀ it up on my computer or phone playlist. The lyrics aren’t really that amazing, but there’s just something about it that sticks with you (or me at least).

If you’ve heard this song, did you have a similar reaction, or have you ever experienced this with other music?
